Twitter CRM & SMS

A: CureCRM pulls mentions about your company or brand into our "Twitter CRM" service. Your team can respond to incoming customer or prospect Tweets, assign Tweets to your team, and see Tweets in the same feed as emails when viewing contacts.
Q: Is Twitter CRM part of the Outlook plugin and Firefox plugin?
A: Yes.
Learn more about Twitter and SMS integration here.
Q: Where are the instructions for using CureCRM with Twitter or SMS?
A: Click
here to access the instructions.
Q: I'm Twitter-trained, is CureCRM for me?
A: If you've ever used Twitter before, you will recognize many similarities in syntax. For example, at CureCRM we use the handy "@" symbol whenever referencing another person on your team (we also use it in referencing tags).
Q: Can I use CureCRM with Twitter?
A: Yes, CureCRM is fully integrated with Twitter. Login to setup Twitter integration on your "settings" or "team admin" pages.
Q: How long before my tweets appear in my news feed?
A: It usually take about one hour before your tweets appear in your news feed.
Scheduling via personal email assistant
More information about CureCRM's syntax for scheduling is here.
Q: Support for .ical feeds?
A: Yes. Use the iCal feed to import events to Google Calendar, iCal (on Mac), or other calendaring clients. Copy & paste the URL from the footer of the dashboard (after login).
Q: I already use a calendar application (Outlook, Google, etc), why do I need CureCRM?
A: CureCRM is great for setting up meetings on the go. Using your mobile phone, email anyone and include your assistant - we'll push events to your existing calendar automatically and remind you and whoever you're emailing.
Q: Where do I set my timezone?
A: Login to CureCRM, on the bottom of your dashboard, you will find a link enabling you to set your timezone.
Q: Do I need to copy (via To, Cc, or Bcc) Cc every time I want to schedule an event?
A: You only need to copy Cc if you don't allow CureCRM to crawl your Inbox nightly. When CureCRM crawls your inbox, we remind you of events automatically and also remind the people you're meeting with to be on time.
Q: What if I forward an email to cc@curecrm.com that contains multiple dates/times?
A: Currently, CureCRM only supports one date/time per email. Use the handy @ symbol next to the main date/time reference in your email, and we'll push it to your calendar and send you reminder emails.
Q: What happens if I forget to include my email assistant in event scheduling?
A: If we're crawling your box, we'll send out the event invitation automatically.
Q: What happens if I Bcc my assistant?
A: We schedule the event for you, but exclude your email recipients from receiving reminders from your assistant.
Q: How are recurring events handled?
A: As always, include the easy "@" symbol next to a date/time reference. For recurring events, here are some examples: "Tennis every monday @ 9am with @bob", "Team meeting every Tuesday morning @ 10am"
Q: Does Cc handle cancellations?
A: Yes. Via phone (iPhone, Windows Mobile, Blackberry), Outlook, Gmail, or anywhere, Cc will process event cancellations and let you know of any changes to tentative events immediately.
Q: Does CureCRM support scheduling on AOL mail?
A: CureCRM does not support AOL mail yet; however, we support Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo mail, and many other popular mail sites and clients.
Email conversation tracking for sales reps
Q: Where can I learn about the different types of syntax used to identify dates, high priority items, and people?
Q: What types of email services are supported?
A: We currently scan and process emails from: Microsoft Exchange servers, Google Apps mail, GMail, IMAP servers, and Outlook Web Access (powered by Microsoft Exchange).
Q: I'm worried about my privacy. What happens if I mail a file or an event to a friend using CureCRM? Do personal emails land in the Newsfeed and can others at work access them?
A: We've spent a lot of time tweaking CureCRM to solve this problem. Personal files or emails mailed to users outside of your team are intentionally excluded from the knowledge base. However, for work-related files, users on your team can see file names in the knowledge base, but cannot access them without direct permission from you, the owner.
Q: How far back in time do you extract data from my inbox?
A: At any given time, we only go back 7 days in your inbox.
Q: What happens to my email inbox?
A: We scan your inbox in read-only. You will never lose emails by allowing CureCRM to crawl through your box.
Q: Can I use CureCRM inside the corporate firewall?
A: Yes, we have a version of CureCRM that can be deployed inside your company's intranet.
Q: Does CureCRM unlock files from email inboxes in my co-worker's email boxes?
A: Yes, CureCRM unlocks relevant work-related files transacted via email and places them in the Recent Files and Newsfeed widgets on the site.
Q: Can I tell CureCRM what to pull out of my inbox.
A: Yes, in fact, you can specify filters like limiting images files (.jpg, .gif) from landing in your news feed.
